California Boxing & MMA is a Sacramento combat-sports gym owned and coached by Gilbert Zaragoza, a longtime Sacramento boxer with over 40 years of amateur and professional experience. Gilbert has trained under respected boxing coaches including Lou Duva, Tommy Brooks, Don Conley, Will Edgington, and Floyd Mayweather Sr. He also competed on Oscar De La Hoya’s reality boxing series, The Next Great Champ, placing 3rd. The gym offers boxing, MMA, striking, kickboxing, self-defense, and strength training for kids, adults, beginners, and experienced fighters in a disciplined, family-friendly environment.
